In April 2021 the Federal Government Skilling Australia’s Defence Industry (SADI) Grant Program awarded Five Rings $152,180 for its project ‘Learning and Capability Enhancement Program: Flight Test & Analysis’.
The funding under the SADI Grant, has allowed Five Rings to deliver specialist technical training to design engineers and increase defence related skills capacity and capability within the organisation.
The technical training is delivered through Five Rings in-house Flight Test Pilot Mr David Ostler, providing Flight Fundamentals, Introduction to FT&A, and Intermediate FT&A training. In turn this project will support and improve performance of FT&A projects.
The training program continues to be delivered throughout 2022, with 11 design engineers who have successfully completed multiple levels of training and development so far. Five Rings is thrilled to be able to build defence capability within the organisation, through the delivery of FT&A training, and position the business to deliver higher value projects.
